Description
Non-perturbative dynamics is very important in our understanding of strong interactions, and possibly for physics beyond the standard model. Analytic understanding of the mechanism for confinement and chiral symmetry breaking is still lacking. I present the new technique to study them using supersymmetric gauge theories softly broken by anomaly mediation. Supersymmetric gauge theories are spherical cows that do not resemble our world at all, a spherical cow. But an infinitesimal supersymmetry breaking make them look very much like the real cow with all the right features. The technique can be also applied to chiral gauge theories. I also present evidence that physics in the near-SUSY limit smoothly connect to the non-SUSY limit.
