I will present aMC@NLO, a new automatic Monte-Carlo which provides accurate predictions for LHC physics in the Standard Model and beyond, by systematically including NLO corrections in the simulations performed by event generators. I will first explain how NLO corrections can be merged with a parton shower in an automatic way, then I will present some phenomenology studies related with the newly discovered Higgs boson at the LHC.
