The TRAPPISTe pixel sensor is a research and development project with the aim of developing a monolithic particle detector in Silicon-on-Insulator technology. The first detector TRAPPISTe-1 was designed and fabricated here at UCL. I will discuss the simulation of the generated signal and the overall design of the sensor.
