Description

Short summary of the recent hots news about the LHC producing collisions and CMS sawing them... and Different track reconstruction algorithms are used in the CMS for reconstruction of charged tracks.The main idea of track reconstruction is using the reconstructed hits (information of measurements) to determine the related trajectory parameters in an unbiased effective way. We are involved in the improvement of the tracking taking into consideration the material budget of the tracker. I will briefly introduce the general idea of track reconstruction for iterative Combinatorial Track Finder(CTF) algorithm based on Kalman Filter technique. Then, I will present our current results of the ongoing work.
