Forward Jet Production at the Large Hadron Collider

At the Large Hadron Collider it will become posible for the first time to investigate experimentally the forward region in hadron-hadron collisions via high-pT processes. In the the LHC forward kinematics QCD logarithmic corrections in the hard transverse and in the large rapidity interval may both be quantitatively significant. Results of calculations of relevant matrix elements for production of forward jets within high energy factorisation approach will be presented as well as predictions for phenomenogically relevant spectra.
