Description
The IceCube Neutrino Observatory operates at the South pole and takes measurements of a high energy (> TeV scale) astrophysical neutrino flux. We are motivated to constrain the flavour composition of this astrophysical flux, and one possible method is to use the muon/tau ratio in charged current track events. This seminar will detail the method behind this technique on an 11.35 year sample of neutrino starting events, and show the expected sensitivity for a selection of astrophysical neutrino spectra.
