Description

One of the practical problems related to dark matter studies at collider is the wide range of possibilities in which dark matter can be embedded into extensions of the Standard Model. Designing searches to target specific scenarios might reduce sensitivity to other ones, dispersing the efforts from both theory and experimental communities. A unified analysis strategy with wide range of interpretation would be helpful to reduce timescales and resource consumption. I will discuss a possible strategy which allows to map results using simplified models of dark matter to probe the parameter space of large classes of theories by combining and recycling a limited number of event samples. The case of $t$-channel scenarios will be discussed as concrete example.
