Description

In this talk I will review my recent work on the development of parton shower Monte Carlo simulations, including next-to-leading order QCD corrections, for a number of processes which we hope to study in detail at the LHC. In the beginning of the talk I have provided some preliminary material, which I hope will provide some introduction to key concepts for those who are unfamiliar with the workings of these simulations.
