Finite renormalisation and naturalness

Description

We revisit and generalise a "finite" renormalisation scheme for lambda phi^4 theory proposed by Callan in the 70's. It is reminiscent of usual mass dependent renormalisation schemes, but it never meets intermediate (UV) divergences. Applying it to a model of a light field and a heavy one, all correlation functions of the light field can be computed without large fine-tunings involving the mass of the heavy field. This strengthens the intuition that the naturalness paradigm is devoid of physical meaning.
