Description

In this seminar, I will present some of the efforts of the Brazilian National Institute of Space Research (INPE) group of gravitational waves for the development of instruments to increase the sensitivity of gravitational wave detectors. In particular, the optimization of parametric transducers for Mario Schenberg spherical antenna and an investigation of a passive vibrational isolation instrument: a Multi-Nested Pendula system with Geometric Anti-Springs.
