Description

Production of feebly interacting dark matter particles (FIMPs) in the early universe via the freeze-in mechanism provide an alternative to the conventional freeze-out mechanism. In this talk I will describe some issues related to freeze-in production of dark matter. Within the framework of  simple dark matter models I will discuss some of the possible signatures of FIMPs in dark matter searches and at the LHC.
