Description
The exclusive production of lepton pairs, via a photon-photon interaction, is an interesting measurement, already at LHC start-up, with several applications. The online and offline selections of the gamma-gamma -> mu+mu- and gamma-gamma -> e+e- processes are presented. Using the same selection criteria, the observability of exclusive photoproduction of Upsilon (1S), (2S) and (3S) mesons will also be shown.
