Description
Particle flow is an elegant reconstruction technique with the potential
to dramatically improve the accuracy of the CMS experiment for the
detection of jets, tau jets, b jets and missing transverse energy, which
are the essential probes of many Physics channels at the LHC.
After a didactic introduction to the principles of particle flow and a
presentation of the current performances of this reconstruction method,
I will discuss a few hot topics in more detail, and present some of the
challenges that we still face to make particle flow a success in CMS.
