Neutral bosons as portal to dark matter at the LHC

Description
Given the role of the Higgs boson in the breaking of the EW symmetry it is logical to expect it may couple to new forms of matter, namely dark matter.
If so, signatures of invisible Higgs decays, the observation of an anomalous width of the Higgs or the coupling to other Higgs bosons coupling to dark matter are expected and are in reach of the LHC experiments.
A review of the searches and measurements performed with the 8 TeV data is given, focusing on final states containing Z bosons.
An interpretation of the limits in terms of a Higgs-portal model of Dark Matter interactions is presented.
