Description
Modified gravity theories have attracted a lot of attention in order to render natural explanations for the late-time acceleration of the Universe. Nevertheless a full study of both gravitational and astrophysical tests to be passed by the pleiad of these theories is still in progress. In this talk, we will show how the evolution of cosmological scalar perturbations and the predicted power spectra using a dynamical systems approach in the context of f(R) theories of gravity may constrain the range of free parameters. Finally, I will also describe the role that junction conditions may play in discarding the so-called extended teleparallel gravity theories.
