For this special outing day, we will go to the Adventure Parc in Wavre. After some fun in the trees, we will have lunch and a brainstorming session in the afternoon.
--- The place ---
Aventure Parc Wavre lies in a dendrological park planted at the end of the XIXth century. From the terrace, you can see the whole city of Wavre. Many visitors are amazed by the site; yet, it does not lie very far from the centre of Wavre and the E 411 Brussels-Namur highway. On the one hand, a majestic population of beech trees reminds you of the serenity of the Sonian Forest. On the other hand, the courses lie in a Douglas pine plantation that reminds you of our Ardennes forests.

At Aventure Parc, you are your own actor: it’s your turn to play! You are the one who moves around at your own rhythm on the courses. You decide for yourself whether you want to accomplish a new challenge, to have a break on the terrace or to do one course again. Aventure Parc is a relaxation park. When quality takes the place of quantity... The size of the park makes it possible for everyone to move around in a large space in which they don’t feel imprisoned.
Note that a normal physical shape is enough to be able to complete the courses. The difficulty level is progressive but you can stop whenever you want... and if you are afraid, your colleagues will be there to help!

In the afternoon, we will meet in the seminar room on site. This will be the opportunity for the newcomers to learn about the activities, and maybe to meet some of us for the first time. This will also be an opportunity to discuss the future of the lab, and how to improve our daily life.
