Description
In this short presentation we will talk about the two photon physics at the LHC. The main direction of our project will be the investigation of new physics beyond the Standard Model, specifically of the anomalous gauge couplings, using the CMS detector. We are interested in the bosonic sector of the Standard Model and in the measurements of the exclusive two photons production of pairs of W bosons for testing the quartic couplings gamma-gamma-WW with high precision. We will also talk about the preparation of the exclusive measurements at 14 TeV using novel forward detectors, in particular the GasToF timing detector. Finally, we will shortly discuss some complementary studies like the measurement of the exclusive production of the Higgs boson and ZZ pairs.
