DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Wenzer Qin (NYU)\n\nWhile density fluctuations are w
ell measured on large scales\, the matter power spectrum on small scales r
emains largely unconstrained. Enhanced primordial overdensities on these s
cales can collapse at very early times\, giving rise to astrophysical obje
cts earlier than in the standard cosmological picture. In this talk\, I wi
ll explore several consequences of this early collapse\, including the for
mation of supermassive black hole seeds and the first galaxies and star cl
usters\, as well as their impact on cosmological observables such as the C
 MB power spectrum.\n\nhttps://agenda.irmp.ucl.ac.be/event/5934/
