Description
Planar orthogonal polynomials play an important role in studying the statistical behavior of 2D Coulomb Gases. In this talks, I will present the strong asymptotics of planar orthogonal polynomials for the conditional Ginibre ensemble, and then describe the recent progress in computing correlation kernels and partition functions of 2D Coulomb Gases. This talk is based on recent works with Seung-Yeop Lee, Torben Kruger, Sung-Soo Byun, Seong-Mi Seo, and Eui Yoo.
