 the world’s largest silicon tracker\; composed of an inner pixel detecto
 r with 1\,856 modules and an outer strip detector consisting of 15\,148 mo
 dules. To accurately reconstruct trajectories of charged particles the pos
 ition\, rotation and curvature of each module must be corrected such that 
 the alignment resolution is smaller than\, or comparable to\, the hit reso
 lution. This procedure is known as tracker alignment and will be described
  in the context of this talk with a focus on performance and challenges du
