A series of five lectures on effective field theories will be given by Dr Rafael Aoude from the Higgs Center for Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh. It will cover topics such as: separation of scales, matching, power counting, loops and renormalisation-group running, SMEFT, the Warsaw basis and phenomenology aspects.
