CBC updates —

UGent

Cezary: no major updates, monitoring events and preliminary analysis.

Archisman: no updates, same as Cezary; after Virgo entered the observing run there have been a few good well localized events.

Bursts updates —

ULiege

Matteo: MMT group: Matthias has been elected as subgroup co-chair; analysis of second chunk of GRBs with X-pipeline has started, tomorrow (4.30pm) there will be a call to discuss the first closed boxes of this latest chunk of GRBs.

Maxime: Presented GWpyxel closed box results for O4a: clean background; comparison for 50%Hrss with other pipelines, GWpyxel better than PYstampas for most of the waveforms (worse performances for NCSACAM waveforms though), competitive pipeline on long bursts side; burst review chair of GWpyxel: review starts from beginning of August; concerned about timeline, hopefully to be done by November-December to not delay O4a all-sky long duration paper.

UCLouvain

Matthias: speeding up neutrino part, seeing how sensitive analysis will be soon; MMT group: starting GW neutrino follow-up with Matteo, Patrick, Iara and Wasim (student of Patrick), waiting for answers from Iara and Patrick to set up the analysis then start

Instrumentation - optics updates —

UCLouvain

Ricardo:    setting up phase camera at UCLouvain (before it was borrowed from Amsterdam group), now it’s integrated in system and fully working; we are at point where we where with the previous scanner; testing small optical cavity, making sure phase camera working

UGent

Daniela: ET Pathfinder: difficult having silicon mirror, considering idea flat end mirror, working on optical simulations to see if it is doable; Archisman: what is the gain in the Fabry-Perot cavity of ET Pathfinder (Daniel:    i.e. finesse)? Hans: about a few hundreds

There are minutes attached to this event. Show them.
