Theoretical lesson + hands-on exercises: 10:00--12:30

Lesson 1:  Fundaments

- Probability: theory of measure and set theory, causal networks

- Bayesian and Frequentist realizations of probability

- Distributions, counting experiments, goodness-of-fit tests

 

Each theoretical lesson will be followed by a hands-on tutorial.

Some knowledge of python and ROOT will be necessary for the hands-on tutorials.
